The
Right Angle youth fishing program, in affiliation with New
Life Kingdom Ministries, offers a wonderful opportunity for
youth living in the greater Milwaukee area. The goal of The
Right Angle is to instruct the youth (ages 6-18) on the skills
and excitement of sportfishing, and to introduce them to local
fishing holes right in their own community. Ideally, the
program was designed to get kids into fishing, and away from
drugs, gangs, violence, and other issues plaguing the youth in
America today.
The program is open to all 6-18 year olds, regardless of their
race, background, religion, or financial situation. Several
mini-events are scheduled throughout the summer, and a final
year-end family event is scheduled for the kids and their
immediate families to join in! The program makes every effort
to provide meals for each of the children involved, and food
is provided by sponsors, churches, and families involved in
the program.
Participating youth are asked to bring their own rod & reel
combo – that is all. The group provides all of the bait,
hooks, and meals for the youth. Kids are also to bring along
an open mind and heart. The entire program is facilitated
through the efforts of volunteers and the congregation of New
Life Kingdom Ministries of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
